Vetox integrated design element is like a blade which breaks through air resistance.
Different from general bike head headsets with limited steering, AIH dedicated aero-shaped mounted head set has an upper cover using a circular cone. AIH is designed to integrate both mechanical routing and DI2 electronic routing hole location. Unique olecranon-like shape provides optimal aerodynamic feeling.
The IHS integrated hidden seat post is combined with the top tube integrally. With consideration of hydromechanics, the compact top tube is shaped as a blade to provide a stunning visual effect.

TRADITIONAL AERO TUBE
The VETOX head tube has special wind breaking flow guiding groove design for positive airflow to be split and fit bike body. In conjunction with the perfect integral profile of the disc brake front fork, optimal wind breaking hydromechanics is achieved.
The rider in the opposite direction cannot stop paying attention to the stunning bike head profile when you ride a VSR.
Without increasing weight, the frame and the front fork are combined integrally, such that 30% of the turbulent flow is reduced as wind flow besides head tube front fork, while the volume on the upper edge of the front fork is increased to improve lateral stiffness by 40%.
The Vetox pneumatics seat post integrates an adjustable seat clamp with 73 to 77 degrees of variable seat tube angle. In addition to the angle of 74 degrees supported by a general road bike with respect to comfort geometry, an angle of 77 degrees may also be adjusted for time trial geometry to provide the most explosive power for sprinting in typical triathlon competition. A seat post embedded DI2 battery holder is integrated into the seat post, so that all DI2 cables are combined inside the frame to maintain a concise appearance of the bike body.
The Vetox integration design also considers the rear brake by covering a Direct Mount brake on the bottom of BB to minimize air resistance. In conjunction with direct pulling brake internal routing, the most direct braking efficiency is provided.
In order for VSR to select both/either a 130 mm traditional road bike hub and/or a 135 mm disc brake hub, DARE is designed with a replaceable ISIS dropout system.
An integrated sandwiched lug design allows the lug hole to be deformed and broken at first without damaging the carbon fiber portion of frame when the derailleur collides with an object. Moreover, the lug also comprises a mechanical cable hole and a Di2 cable hole, and is the most complex and innovative design among existing lugs for road bikes.
For Vetox covering-based pneumatics rear triangle, the diamond cross section seat tube fits the wheel arc. In conjunction with the rear stay without rear brake, interference due to air resistance is minimized to achieve optimal hydromechanics, reducing air resistance of the rear triangle by 25%.
DARE also thoughtfully considers handle bar pneumatics. For the ergonomic handle bar of VSR attached to the bike, the comfortable upper bar handling zone has all cables concealed inside. This is the single key to victory when lower bar is handled for sprint.

With multiple computer calculations in conjunction with carbon fiber lamination design, VSR presents a perfect weight to stiffness ratio.
The state-of-the-art frame design concept allows pedaling force to be transferred to the rear wheel completely, giving instant feedback.
Minimization equals maximization. Computer simulation is employed for computation of the optimal tube diameter to find out the optimal outer diameters of tubes in each part of the frame. Together with the carbon fiber lamination design, the maximum strength may be achieved with the smallest weight. Also, the latest carbon fiber hollow molding technology is utilized to minimize weight for obtaining the maximum stiffness to weight ratio.
In order to overcome the slow feeling of a traditional flat drip down tube during dancing at high speed, the VSR down tube adopts a diamond cross section instead of a traditional drip shape. A diamond shaped down tube frame not only has the advantage of low air resistance, but also keeps very high flexibility and stiffness-torsional resistance during high speed dancing.
“APT” Asymmetric Enhanced BB (Bottom Bracket) System The Latest APT frame design element is embedded in DARE. Asymmetric design elements are introduced into the seat tube/lower left fork sections. Generally, right transmission will output larger pedaling force for BB to deform and deflect leftwards. Therefore, the tube diameter is enlarged in the non-transmissive lower left fork zone for the VSR to cancel the deformation due to the right force output by outputting 100% of pedaling force to the wheels to achieve the optimal stiffness and pedaling transfer.
Lever principle is employed to the reduce rear upper and lower fork angles (-20 degrees). Reduced torque increases torsional resistance. Stiffness of the rear triangle is increased by 30%. Straight sprint inertia of the body is kept in shaking during dancing. The VSR overturns the requirement of general commercially available road bikes, which compromise comfort, by using blade type flat rear stay to gain surprising shock absorption on bumpy roads.
In addition to speed, the VSR pays more attention to braking efficiency for improved safety by “3X MOUNT”.

Disc brakes are currently the most efficient braking systems, which drastically improve the issue of overheating due to carbon fiber rims. The VSR reserves a space for Flat Mount, the latest road bike light disc brake system of Shimano, in the lower left fork. With an adapter, it may also be equipped with a current Post Mount disc brake system.
Shimano Direct Mount direct locking double axle pneumatics C clamp brake retains the brake revolving axle to the frame directly, so that stiffness of the brake is increased by +30%. It has the best braking efficiency among C clamp braking systems. Compared to general traditional medium axle C clamp brakes, the weight is reduced by 15%. Brake and frame are combined integrally, together with the VSR completely hidden brake cable design, to provide the BB bottom with the ultimate hydromechanics.
The carefully integrated safety design of DARE prevents chains from detachment during gear change. Such chain detachment-free design allows riders to pedal without worry.
DARE cooperates with TORAY and primarily researches and develops Multiply Synthetic Hot-Melted Carbon Fiber-Resin (HS-HMC prepreg), which utilizes ultra-low FAW-(Fiber Areal Weight) (g/m2).
In brief, the thickness and weight of DARE HS-HMC carbon fiber prepreg is half that of traditional carbon fiber prepregs. Accordingly, layers of DARE carbon fiber stacks are virtually doubled under the same wall thickness to increase the orientation and number of angles in the lamination design. While weight is reduced, torsional resistance for the body is increased comprehensively to achieve optimal stiffness.
In order to obtain high intensity and high impact/torsional resistance for a frame, DARE employs expensive T1000 and M40, M46 carbon fibers for lamination over different sections of the frame. Light weight coupled with optimal strength for body provides high stiffness and torsional resistance to achieve optimal pedaling efficiency.

DARE employs the latest computerized cutting technology to meet a lamination design which is suitable for frame specific shape, to ensure the most precise material fitting control is achieved.
DARE utilizes cutting-edge technology to replace the frame tube joint portion with hollow integral technology. The main structure portion of the dropout is also made of 100% full carbon fiber integrally to achieve light weight while balancing frame stiffness.
Coreshell inner mold core smooth technology forms complex zones such as BB (Bottom Bracket) and head tube shapes with a special inner mold, it not only allows a smooth inner wall of the frame for tight and robust carbon yarn lamination, but also improves stiffness of frame by 15%.
DARE is pioneering the use of full carbon fiber to form 86.5mm Shimano BB (Bottom Bracket) specification directly and eliminates the extra weight of traditional thread type metal BB shells. In comparison with traditional narrow BSA 68mm or BB30/PF30 BB, BB 86.5mm expands to a maximum volume, implementing the idea that the larger the BB volume, the better the stiffness. In conjunction with Coreshell inner mold core smooth technology, the most efficient output is achieved for pedaling stiffness and torque transfer. Moreover, BB 86.5mm is also compatible with an SRM powermeter, so it is not necessary to worry about any interference problems resulting from enlarging the BB.
