“It’s a great opportunity because there were various cyclists of the subsidiary Sub 23 who wanted to make the jump to the professional peloton in the UCI Continental, so I am very grateful to our technical team for believing in me.

I’m faced with a challenge which is both motivating yet challenging because this Classic race is competed during the peak of the cycling calendar and with very experienced cyclists who are already at a high level, including those coming from the Tour of Poland, like those from Movistar. This Sunday there is the Gexto Circiut, another great race, with cyclists coming from the Tour de France.

So, I’m waiting to see how I cope tomorrow, I don’t want to falter through not trying, of course not, and if there’s an opportunity, I will take it.’’
