DARE’s competitive aerobike Velocity Ace-AFO (VA-AFO) has sped onto the scene! In preparation to chase victory at this year’s Tour de France, we've worked every detail through highly sophisticated wind resistance technology and utilized cutting edge Torayca ® carbon fiber T1100G and M46X authorized by renowned Japanese company Toray.
Top Performance in Grand Tour
In May of 2024 the Uno-X Team switched over to VA-AFO and saw immediate results. Not only did Uno-X secure single stage wins in several renown races, they pedaled to outstanding scores in July’s Tour de France, nabbing the green jersey in stages 2~4 and the polka dot jersey in stages 1~11, showcasing the excellence of VA-AFO’s engineering to the world.

Our mission in designing the Velocity Ace was not to simply be better, but to be the best. In a world of speed, even one watt can be the difference between victory and defeat. That’s why we turned to CFD experts in Switzerland to run simulations on each part of our frame, using software analytics to draw and reshape each tube into the optimal dimensions. After testing sample after sample to find the perfect airfoil tube shapes, we then tested in wind tunnels, using the resulting calculations to tweak the VA-AFO into its final form – a beast of pure speed. In final tests before the start of the season, under similar conditions VA-AFO beat previous generation aero road bike VSRu by an astounding 11.4 watts, on par for aero performance with the best brands on the market!
